He was omitted from new manager Alonso’s pre-season tour squad to allow him to focus on finding a move elsewhere.
It’s understood that Chelsea were hoping to secure a permanent move for Badiashile but have now had to settle for a loan.
Badiashile joins Napoli for the 2026-27 season for a €4million loan fee and an option to make the move permanent for a fixed fee of €27million.
The Serie A side will also be covering his salary throughout the season.
