Tottenham are expected to smash through the £300M spending mark as part of a busy summer transfer window in North London.

Roberto De Zerbi solidified his defence ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a double free transfer move on Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson before landing a £52M swoop for Jan Paul van Hecke.

Midfield is his next focus with an £85M deal for Mateus Fernandes already in place and the Spurs hierarchy are locked in ongoing talks with Newcastle United over a club record £100M move for Sandro Tonali.

However, De Zerbi is not stopping there, as the Italian coach also wants to bring in a striker to boost Spurs' misfiring frontline with Richarlision (11) the only player to hit double figures in the Premier League last season.

Bournemouth hotshot Eli Junior Kroupi is now on De Zerbi's radar, as per The Independent, after the 20-year-old scored a sensational 13 EPL goals in his debut campaign with the Cherries.

A move for Kroupi could be the trickiest for De Zerbi - who wants all new arrivals to be in place before preseason starts this month - with Chelsea already reaching out to Bournemouth over a deal plus interest from PSG.

Bournemouth are in a strong position over negotiations, and could demand around £80M for their star asset, which may be over De Zerbi's budget and Savinho as a Plan B could be visited by the former Marseille boss.

Tottenham start their preseason campaign under De Zerbi with a clash against MK Dons before games in Australia and New Zealand - including a meeting with Chelsea in Sydney on August 1.
