Liverpool are ready to reject all offers for Alexander Isak as Barcelona reportedly grow interested.

Isak has scored one goal and provided three assists for Sweden at the World Cup as his nation prepares to face France in the Round of 32 this week in what is their biggest test so far.

The 26 year old became British football’s most expensive player when they secured his signature from Newcastle last September and he since went on to grab just 4 goals and 1 assist due to a host of injuries last season.

As he thrives at the World Cup, Mundo Deportivo and Daily Mail report that Barcelona are hoping to secure his signature as they know his poor season will have dramatically reduced his price.

The Spanish giants are also looking at Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez as potential options to attempt to replace Robert Lewandowski who has since left and signed for Chicago Fire.

All 3 strikers are almost impossible targets for Barcelona who know that each club is unwilling to sell this summer as they try to hang on to their best forward assets heading into the new campaign.

With Isak’s contract running until 2031, Liverpool almost certainly sell Isak one year after bringing him to the club. Now he is on fire at the World Cup, new manager Andoni Iraola will be keen to keep him fit and steady ahead of their title charge next season.
