The attacker joined Forest from Vitória de Guimarães last August and went on to make 38 appearances for Forest, scoring four times and providing three assists.
The 26-year-old is now set for a new chapter in Turkey, with Besiktas currently sat 11th in the Süper Lig.
Silva joined Besiktas with the Turkish transfer window closing on Friday.
