Tottenham want to bring in a least one new forward before the summer transfer window closes.

Roberto De Zerbi has already broken the £200M spending mark ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season with defence and midfield his main focus.

Andy Robertson and Marcos Sensei have joined as free agents, and De Zerbi secured Jan Paul van Hecke before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as part of a new-look defence in North London.

That was swiftly followed by two blockbuster midfield moves with an £85M deal for Mateus Fernandes and a whopping £100M swoop on Sandro Tonali.

However, the Italian coach is concerned by his attacking depth, after failing to convince Randal Kolo Muani over a permanent move back to England.

Spurs are in talks with Manchester City over a deal for Savinho and the two clubs are also rumoured to be negotiating on Omar Marmoush after a fresh spike in interest.

City are open to offloading Savinho, but their stance on Marmoush is less clear, and De Zerbi is keeping his options open over who could fill a No.9 role.

Reports from Football Insider claim a late offer for Crystal Palace's Jean-Phillipe Mateta could land at Selhurst Park, if Marmoush opts to stay in Manchester.

The France international has hit double figures for goals in the Premier League in each of the last three seasons - but he's into the final year of his contract - and Palace could sell for around £35M.
