"I’m so happy, it’s a dream to be here and to play at the Bridge. Thank you for that love and I hope to repay you out on the pitch."
He added: "Since I’ve been here at the club, the reception I’ve had from everybody – the players, the coaching staff, the fans – has made me feel really at home.
"I’m really happy and I’m settling in quicker than I could have thought and I’m delighted with that."
