The Brazil attacker continues to be barracked by a section of the support at the Santiago Bernabeu - including this week during the Champions League win against AS Monaco.
TNT Brasil's Mantovani, speaking on El Partidazo, stated: “The booing is understandable because Real Madrid fans are usually very demanding of all the players. What hasn't been understood is why it lasted so long.
“It’s not normal for it to happen throughout the entire match, and it’s incomprehensible that you would do it to a player on your own team.
"In Brazil, that doesn’t happen even with the worst team in my neighborhood, because in our country, the custom is to support your team and your players 100%, throughout the entire match.
"We found it quite strange. The criticism, is understandable, but the feeling is that with Vini, everything is more exaggerated, and lines are crossed that wouldn’t be reached with other players.”
