Many Real identities have been calling for Florentino to sell the Brazil international given his antics on the pitch.
After Vini Jr's man-of-the-match performance in their Champions League win against Monaco, Valdano stated Florentino has done everything to support the attacker.
"It's impossible to have more support than Vinicius has had. From the president and now from the new coach. It's impossible," he said on Movistar Plus+.
"Everything Florentino has done for Vinicius is unprecedented in the history of football.
"Taking an entire team off a bus and not attending the Ballon d'Or gala because he wasn't awarded it, seems to me to be a sign not just of affection, but of the club's dedication to the player."
After scoring his stunning goal, when Kylian Mbappé was waiting to hug him and join the fans, the Brazilian made a feint and went back to the centre circle without celebrating with the crowd.
"Vinicius showed today that it's not easy; he got his revenge on the fans in a way, he didn't participate in the celebration with the fans after scoring such a great goal," the Argentine continued.
And he concluded with a prediction of how long Vinicius' anger would last: "That heals in three days, but it does give an indication of the player's personality."
