Dortmund have won 13 of their 17 Bundesliga fixtures at the stadium, but one of their two losses at the arena was a 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in February.

German champions Bayern are unbeaten in their eight most recent visits to Signal Iduna Park, beating Dortmund seven times as they seek to make it 8 this weekend.

However, Bayern will be without Musiala for the clash as the club remain cautious after it was revealed that he is suffering from “treatable absence seizures” after he collapsed on the pitch for the second time in four days.

Ahead of the game, Kompany admitted that the midfielder will not be risked as club doctors find the best way to get him back to pitch without putting the 23 year old at risk.

"He is not in the squad. It is about him making the adaptation in the treatment," Kompany told reporters

Musiala said he’s “very optimistic” and is receiving excellent medical treatment following his falls. “The important thing is that there is no additional health risk,” he wrote.

The young star missed the first six months of last season after breaking his ankle at the 2025 Club World Cup. Now, with his seizures it looks like his career won’t become any easier as fans hope he can get back to the pitch and get back to his old self.
