With the FA Cup final to come, Hojlund is to become the first player to top score for United in his debut season since Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2016/17.

After Hojlund scored in victory at Brighton on Sunday, manager Erik ten Hag said: "I think he came in after we had scored a goal already from Diogo (Dalot) in behind but he came in and showed a very fresh influence like he did on Wednesday as well.
"Scoring two great goals and as you say I think he has made a very good impression here (in his first season)."
