The 19-year-old winger has agreed a three-year contract at Turf Moor and becomes the club’s first addition of the 2026 summer transfer window.

Born in Barcelona, Castell began his career at Gimnastic de Tarragona before joining Espanyol’s academy in 2022.
He progressed through the club’s youth ranks, earned a professional contract in 2024 and made more than 60 appearances for Espanyol B, scoring 11 goals.
After impressing in training with the senior squad, Castell made his first-team debut against Real Sociedad in May. Burnley believe the talented forward has a bright future ahead.
