Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced that Neymar is set to return to the fold to face Scotland.

Brazil needed a response after drawing with Morocco in their opening match and came through with a 3-0 win over Haiti, who are now out of the competition in their first appearance since 1974.

Ancelotti’s side, who lead Group C with 4 points, will conclude the group stage against Scotland on Thursday in Miami, Florida in what is tipped to be one of the most entertaining clashes of the Group Stage.

Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior grabbed the goals against Haiti as Brazil utterly dominated the clash, showing their attacking prowess over 90 minutes.

Against Scotland however, one familiar face in Brazil’s leading top scorer is set to return as confirmed by Ancelotti.

"Neymar will be training tomorrow individually, and on Monday with the rest of the team.

“He will be available for the match against Scotland," he said following the 3-0 win over Haiti.

Neymar faces some stiff competition in attack however, including Vini Jr who was chosen as the best player of the match for the second time in the tournament against Haiti. Whether he can burst into the team is unknown, especially as a win over Scotland is vital and Ancelotti may not want to rotate his unbeaten squad.

The good news for Neymar is that Raphinha picked up a suspected hamstring injury in the first half against Haiti, potentially opening the door for the Santos star next week.
