Arsenal face Brighton this week but will be with a number of stars for the clash as they prepare to rotate.

The Gunners are aiming for a third straight Premier League win this week as they clash with The Seagulls at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.

Arsenal restored their five-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table with a narrow win over Chelsea at the weekend will hope to make maintain that lead with another victory. 

Mikel Arteta’s side unbeaten in 11 away games in all tournaments but could face issues with the likes of Ben White (other), Mikel Merino (ankle / foot) and Kai Havertz (other) all ruled out for the clash. 

Arteta gave updates on a number of players including Martin Odegaard (knee), Declan Rice (thigh), Raya (other) who will all be monitored ahead of the game as they return to the side. 

"Martin (Odegaard) is the other one. We will see. We have to wait and see how comfortable he is to do certain actions.  

On Declan Rice's availability: "I hope so. He was much better today. We haven't really trained because we only have two days to prepare for the game, so hopefully he is going to be better tomorrow."  

On goalkeeper David Raya: "David is good, good to go." 

Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas are the two long-term casualties for Brighton, with both having undergone knee operations in recent weeks in what will be a veru tough test for manager Fabian Hurzeler.
