Title-chasing Arsenal will have a third straight Premier League win on their mind as they make their way to the Amex Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners unbeaten in 11 away games in all tournaments and enter the game on the back of a tight win against Chelsea as they maintained their 5 point lead at the top of the table and equalled the record for the most corner goals in a single Premier League season with 16.
Arteta defends corner tactics
Arteta first spoke on criticism of his corner antics this season and the nerves heading into the final games of the season as The Gunners aim to secure their first title in over two decades.
"It's part of the job. I said that we want to score more, and we concede. This is the trajectory.
“There are a lot of factors to that (the pressure of the title race), some of them are related to us, needing to be more clear or willing to do certain things. But also the opponent as well.”
Rice good to go while Odegaard could return
Moving on to team news, Arteta provided a range of updates as a number of players return to fitness ahead of the Brighton clash.
"Especially Kai (Havertz). He has done part of the session so we will have to wait and see whether he is available and then in what conditions.
"Martin (Odegaard) is the other one. We will see. We have to wait and see how comfortable he is to do certain actions.
"Ben (White) is not available. Max (Dowman) is available.
On Declan Rice's availability: "I hope so. He was much better today. We haven't really trained because we only have two days to prepare for the game, so hopefully he is going to be better tomorrow."
On goalkeeper David Raya: "David is good, good to go."
Finally, as he prepares for several players to return to the side he commented on Brighton who could move up to 8th if they pick up three points against his side.
"Very good side, the way they are coached. What they want to do, they believe in what they want to do."
