Newcastle are reportedly looking to have Sandro Tonali's future sorted as quickly as possible in a bit to avoid a repeat of the Alexander Isak transfer saga that plagued them last summer.

Isak eventually secured his £125 million move to Liverpool on last summer’s Premier League transfer deadline day.

The Sweden international forced the move through by refusing to go on Newcastle’s pre-season tour as he hoped to avoid potential injury.

The transfer saga also effected Newcastle’s abilty to sign a replacement, something they’re looking to avoid this summer with Tonali, according to The Telegraph.

Tonali is expected to leave Newcastle this summer, with the likes of Man United, Man City, and Arsenal all heavily linked.

The report adds that Tonali’s agent is already meeting with potential new clubs as Newcastle demand a fee of around £100 million.
