Man United are reportedly baffled by renewed Saudi interest in captain Bruno Fernandes, with a huge £33m-a-year contract said to be on the table.

The 30-year-old turned down an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal earlier in the summer, preferring to remain at Old Trafford.

It’s understood Fernandes is keen on playing a key role in Ruben Amorim’s rebuild, with the manager wanting him to remain at the club.

According to The Sun, the attacking midfielder is subject to renewed interest from Saudi Arabia, this time with Al-Ittihad keen.

It’s understood that the Saudi club are willing to pay Fernandes a staggering £33 million per-year in order to convince him to head to the Middle East.

Per the Manchester Evening News, Man United have been left ‘baffled’ by the interest and insist they have no intention in selling their captain any time soon.
