Andoni Iraola has admitted he would like his side to sign more wingers before the end of the transfer window, especially since the departure of Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with PSG’s Bradley Barcola but have so far failed to meet the French side’s massive £120 million asking price.
As a result, the club have been forced to look to potential alternatives, and recently made a £50 million offer for Minteh, 22, which was swiftly rejected.
Per The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Liverpool have had a second offer of £60 million for the winger rejected by Brighton.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will come back with another bid as Brighton seek a fee closer to £70 million.
Minteh is currently recovering from surgery on a right leg injury sustained in a 3-0 friendly win at home to Roma earlier this month.
