Inter Milan plan fresh bid for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones

The 25-year-old has been a priority target for the Serie A champions, but they have been unable to match Liverpool’s £30 million asking price.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are plotting a fresh bid for Jones, and have reached out to the player’s representatives.

Jones was a notable absentee from Liverpool’s squad for the friendly against Cesc Fabregas’ Como, which the Premier League side won 2-0.

Liverpool’s official reason was a hip problem.
