Harry Kane is reportedly ready to sign a contract extension at Bayern Munich with his current deal expiring in less than 12 months.

RuteersThe 32-year-old chose to make the move to Bavaria in 2023, and has been a revelation at the Allianz Arena with an incredible 146 goals scored in 147 games - plus setting a new England record of 11 World Cup goals so far this summer.

He also ended a decade-long wait for a trophy, after failing to win any major silverware at Tottenham, after clinching two Bundesliga titles and a Golden Boot in each of his three seasons in Germany.

As he heads into the final 12 months of his contract with Vincent Kompany's team, rumours have emerged over a possible move back to the Premier League, with former England star Michael Owen claiming he's 'too good for the Bundesliga'.

Kane racked up 213 Premier League goals at Spurs and his old England teammate Wayne Rooney has called on him to consider breaking Alan Shearer's long-standing record (260) in his thinking over his plans in the coming months if Manchester United make an offer.

However, as per the latest from The Athletic, Kane is not considering a move to Manchester or Barcelona, as his family are settled in Munich and he remains determined to win the Champions League there.

Kane has a release clause in his contract, which would have required Bayern Munich to consider offers for him his summer, but he needed to inform the club of his intentions in January - which he opted against.

Despite his enduing importance to Kompany's plans, Kane's potential renewal is unlikely to be longer than two years, as he retains hope of leading England at Euro 2028 on home soil.
