The Sun says an investigation is being held after Michael Carrick's line-up was leaked before kickoff last week against Manchester City.
United have been plagued by leaks for the past ten years and now are trying to find the source of the issue.
Management are convinced Carrick's XI was leaked after it appeared online and in the media hours before kickoff against City.
United won 2-0 on the day, but directors and coaching staff were frustrated with the make-up of the starting XI being discussed well before the match began.
This investigation comes after a similar attempt was made in December after Carrick's predecessor Ruben Amorim went public.
"I know that story," Amorim said at the time. "I don't know, I think it's impossible to fix nowadays because you have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents.
"I don't know, you can talk with friends, so it's hard to know. It's not a good thing, but let's move on and go to the next one and see if they find the next starting XI."
