The 26-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge last year, following former manager Enzo Maresca through the door in a move that has never worked out for the England international who has now been deemed as surplus to requirements by the club this summer.
Dewsbury-Hall has made 36 appearances across all competitions since signing for the Blues and has has struggled to make an impact since the move to Stamford Bridge. Now, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Everton have launched a bid for the midfielder who they think can add quality to their side ahead of the new season.
“EXCLUSIVE: Everton submit official bid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to join on permanent deal from Chelsea.
“Club to club talks underway, Chelsea open to this option with discussions ongoing on terms with #EFC.”
The bid comes as The Blues chase down Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig who will add more depth to a Chelsea midfield that is already brimming with talent. Dewsbury-Hall does not look to have a place in the side and Everton boss David Moyes clearly sees this as the perfect time to snap him up before the new campaign begins in a few weeks time.
