Bournemouth have dropped Alex Jimenez after messages leaked that claim he has been speaking to underage girls.

Jimenez has played in every Premier League match for the Cherries since November, starting all but one of those matches as he became an essential part of Andoni Iraola’s side.

However, the 21-year-old will not feature in tomorrow’s game against Fulham at Craven Cottage as confirmed by the club on Friday afternoon.

“AFC Bournemouth are aware of posts circulating on social media involving right-back, Álex Jiménez.

“The club understand the seriousness of the matter, and it is currently being investigated.

“As a result, Alex will not be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Fulham and the club will be making no further comment at this time.”

This come after screenshots and videos were leaked of his alleged conversation with a 15-year-old in which the messages read “I like smaller girls” and “I’ve never been with a 15 year old girl”.

Bournemouth are in sixth place in the table with three games to play as they chase down European football. With 3 games to play, Jimenez will be a huge loss as the club report the incident that could potentially destroy his career if proven true.
