Arsenal continued to showcase their set-piece prowess as they secured a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

William Saliba and Jurrien Timber scored from corners with the result extending Mikel Arteta’s side’s lead at the top of the Premier League to five points over Manchester City.

Arsenal’s efficiency from corners has been a standout feature this season, with the two goals against Chelsea taking their total to 16 in the league.

This equalled the joint-most corner goals in a single Premier League campaign, matching records set by Oldham Athletic in 1992-93, West Brom in 2016-17, and Arsenal themselves in 2023-24.

With nine games remaining in the 2025-26 season, Arsenal are on the verge of setting a new outright record.
