The Italy midfielder has been linked with a move away this summer, with Juventus rivaling Chelsea and Arsenal for the ex-AC Milan starlet.
However, The Times says Tonali has met with sporting director Ross Wilson and manager Eddie Howe to assure them that he sees his future currently with Newcastle.
Tonali told both men that he wants to stay next season and has no interest in forcing a departure over the summer.
He has a deal to 2030 with Newcastle and Tonali also feels he owes management after last season's betting ban.
Tonali recently spoke about his relationship with Howe after scoring twice against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
He said: “After the second goal, I came to Eddie because in the past few weeks, people spoke about our relationship.
“But I work every day with the gaffer, the gaffer works every day with me, and our relationship is perfect.
“It’s not broken and I think this is perfect for the team.
“We try to do the best for this team, every game, because we play a lot of games.
“Every three days, we play, and we have to be concentrated every time in the training ground to do the best for our team.”
