Arsenal have been handed a huge double injury boost ahead of the game against Crystal Palace this weekend as Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus is nearing a return from a serious ACL injury suffered in January against Manchester United in what was a crushing blow for manager Mikel Arteta. Teammate Havertz is also close to returning after undergoing knee surgery following an injury sustained at United on the season's opening weekend.

As reported by The Express, both making strides in their recovery, and Jesus has impressed the Gunners' medical staff with his determination to bounce back and has been participating in on-field sessions.

The Brazil international scored five goals in back-to-back games against Crystal Palace and now, according to insights from journalist John Cross he is back on the pitch in what is a huge boost for the side.

“Despite claims that Gabriel Jesus would be out until 2026, the striker is now targeting a return to full training and potential first-team action by December.”

While Havertz hasn't been seen with the first team training group just yet, Arteta will be keen to get the pair back on the pitch together over the next few months as he prepares to introduce them back into the side.

However, with Viktor Gyokeres performing well after slowly adapting to the Premier League, Jesus and Havertz may find it hard to slot back into Arteta’s side. Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke are also on the injury list as the title favourites continue to rotate their side.
