JJ Gabriel is one of the most exciting young talents to ever come through Man United's prestigious academy in recent years and has already been likened to the like of Neymar as Real Madrid and Barcelona circle.
The 14-year-old has more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and a sponsorship deal with Nike, which just shows how many believe he could be the world’s next best talent.
Gabriel committed his short-term future to United, agreeing to a contract to remain at the club until he turns 16 after scoring seven Under 18 goals this season in just six appearances.
After United's capture of talented ex-Arsenal youngsters Ayden Heaven and Chido Obi, reports have claimed that the Gunners could opt to steal away Gabriel from the Red Devils in an act of revenge.
However, as reported by the Daily Mail, “reports of concrete interest are premature” even if Arsenal are well aware of his talent. The reports also states that “United are desperate to keep Gabriel and see him as a future superstar” and have even offered him a box in the new stadium once it is constructed.
Gabriel will be eligible to put pen to paper on his first professional contract in the summer of 2027, which will come into play from October of that year, following his 17th birthday.
