Mikel Merino struck early and Bukayo Saka scored in injury-time as the Gunners did enough to secure the three points.
Andrews said afterwards: “The first goal goes in… I think we could have done a bit better with it, naturally.
“But they’re always going to put you under pressure and stress test your defence with the players they have and the movement.
“Apart from that, up until the second goal, they had one or two moments. We defended really, really well as a unit, we were proactive, we were front-footed, we took the game to them.
“The second half, we took the game to them, we grew into it, we caused them a lot of problems with the ball and how aggressive we were with our solid structure.
“Up until the second goal, we made it an uncomfortable evening for them.”
We pushed them
Meanwhile, Bees defender Kristoffer Ajer also said at the final whistle: "We came here to press them and create difficulties, and I thought we did that for the most part.
“We travelled here with the ambition to take the three points, and I think we showed that during most of the game.
“We were front-footed and pressed high, but were also smart with how we defended with the quality that Arsenal have.
“When you get two or three big chances against a team like Arsenal, you simply have to score one of them."
