Sean Longstaff struck seven minutes into injury-time to earn the point from Dean Court.

Ampadu said afterwards: “It is a requirement for playing in a Leeds United shirt that you never give up, and you go to the end.

“One thing is that will always push each other, and we will give everything to the end."

On Longstaff’s strike, Ampadu continued, “He loves a volley! It is a great strike, and we know Sean is an unbelievable player because he has shown that throughout his career.

“We are going to keep going. This season I think you do not know what it is going to take to stay up, so you have to keep going no matter what.

“We are going to rest and recover properly and prepare well, because we know it is going to be a very difficult game. I think both teams are going to do everything they can to get into the final, and we have to go and put on a display and do our best."
