Martin Satriano struck the winner for Getafe midway through the first-half, with the final whistle sparking celebratory scenes amongst the visitors.
For Nyom, the result was extra special after the mocking and taunts from Vini Jr during the previous match earlier this season.
At the Coliseum, the Getafe centre-back came on in the 80th minuted... but just 38 seconds later, Nyom was sent off after an off-the-ball incident with the Brazilian.
"Vinícius came up to me and said 'very good substitution'. He doesn't need to come and say that to me, he doesn't need to come and provoke me. There's nothing to explain, that's what he told me, and I told him to just focus on playing," Getafe coach Jose Bordalás said afterwards.
He wasn't the only one who criticised the Brazilian during the game.
"That's why everyone hates you, learn from your teammates," Juan Iglesias told him.
And that's why, at the end of the match at the Bernabéu, Nyom went straight to the Real Madrid bench to dedicate the victory to Vinicius.
Nyom's taunts led to Vinicius Jr trying to confront the Getafe defende before players from both teams separated them. Bordalas also became involved, telling the Brazilian to calm down and gestured as if he would take care of his player.
In the end, both Nyom and Vini were escorted away separately, with the former clearly in a happier mood.
