Mbappe has scored 41 goals and registered six assists in 41 appearances for the Spanish giants this season and has been by far the best player on the pitch for the side.

However, despite his contributions, supporters are reportedly tired of his manner, disrespect and attitude on and off the pitch which has led to mass divisions at the club.

Now, to add to this controversy, his trips to Paris and Italy during his recovery process have not been well received by fans who believe he is being selfish even if he is currently injured.

Their anger at the Frenchman has been clearly shown by the launch of a petition demanding his departure from Madrid, a petition that has already gathered well over 140K signatures within less than 24 hours.

So far this year, he has spent 53 days out injured due to five injuries and has missed 10 matches. Despite this setbacks, he is by far the club’s top scorer.

However, it is not his performances that fans are concerned with but the division he is causing inside the club which has led to thousands of fans pleading with him to depart.
