Pedrerol is close to Real Madrid and Florentino, though acknowledged that the Spanish giants have had a disappointing season.
Discussing Florentino, he said: "For me, he's the best president in the history of Spanish football.
"(But) he can also make mistakes."
Pedrerol also analysed former coach Xabi Alonso's performance, stating the coach tried to assert his authority during a delicate period in the locker room.
"He wanted to be firm... but it all dissolved like a sugar cube."
Regarding current coach Álvaro Arbeloa, Pedrerol was clear about Real Madrid's current situation. The former defender, he explained, has found himself in a complicated and unfavorable scenario.
"He's found himself in a very difficult situation, and right now Real Madrid doesn't inspire optimism," Pedrerol concluded.
