Maupay, who scored Sevilla's goal in the 2-1 defeat, said: "I'm speechless.
"It's a disgrace for us. We competed for 90 minutes and we can't concede in the last minute of such an important match for us. We have to do more because when you play in this shirt, you have to give more.
"I don't want to go down in Sevilla's history for being relegated . It hurts for the club and the fans."
He added, "If we're thinking they're going to help us, it can't be . You can't concede in the last second, whether it's five or nine minutes of added time. It hurts.
"We're going to compete, for sure, but it's difficult for everyone. People expect more from us, they expect three points, and we have to compete for this club and this shirt."
