Just days after his brace in Barca's Champions League win at Newcastle United, Rashford came on after halftime for their 3-0 win against Getafe.
It's been claimed that the Manchester United loanee was benched for arriving two minutes late for a pre-match team meeting. The Daily Mail says Rashford was late due to having to fill in a digital form required of every player for each meeting.
However, Flick afterwards insisted the decision was made due to fitness concerns and needing to manage minutes for the England international.
He stated: "It's normal. We needed fresh legs. And he's also played some minutes. We have to take care of the players. I hope Rashford doesn't have anything (wrong).
"It's not easy to play every four days. It's not easy for the coaches either. I have to focus, and now, after the game, I have to relax."
