Carlo Ancelotti has hinted at the possibility of a third spell at Real Madrid once his World Cup journey with Brazil comes to an end.

The 55-year-old left Real Madrid at the end of last season following a trophyless campaign in the Spanish capital.

Ancelotti has since been tasked with winning a record sixth World Cup with Brazil next summer, but he’s already looking beyond that.

Speaking to ESPN earlier this week, he admitted "it would be nice" to stay at the helm beyond his current one-year deal and lead them at the 2030 World Cup too.

Despite claiming that his club management career is over back in May, Ancelotti has kept the door open to a potential return to Real Madrid, should they come calling.

In an interview with L'Equipe, he said: "Real Madrid is the only team I will accept managing after Brazil."
