Chelsea head into the clash after Saturday’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup final as interim boss Calum McFarlane prepares for one of his final games in charge before Xabi Alonso takes over.
This is Chelsea’s final home game at Stamford Bridge in what will be an intense atmosphere from the home crowd who will hope that their side can put in a dent in Tottenham’s relegation hopes.
Chelsea's Champions League hopes are not over just yet as they are six points adrift of Bournemouth in sixth spot, which could allow them to enter Europe if Aston Villa finish fifth and win the Europa League.
Ahead of the game, McFarlane is dealing with injuries to Estevao Almeida de Oliveira Goncalves (Thigh Injury), Jesse Derry (Head/Face Injury), Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (Thigh Injury), Romeo Lavia (Other) and of course Mykhailo Mudryk (Suspended).
Finally, Joao Pedro appeared to tweak a thigh muscle early on in the FA Cup final before being taken off in the 86th minute. He is a major doubt to feature against Spurs in a Chelsea attack that looks toothless on paper.
Meanwhile, Xavi Simons (knee), Dominic Solanke (hamstring), Ben Davies (ankle), Wilson Odobert (knee), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Mohammed Kudus (thigh) and Cristian Romero (knee) are out for Tottenham.
