Madrid travel to the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of their Champions League tie against City on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 advantage thanks to a Federico Valverde first half hat trick last week.
Alvaro Arbeloa’s side head into the clash on the back of a 4-1 league victory over Elche at the weekend and will be full of confidence as they aim to book their place in the Quarter Final.
The good news for Madrid is that right backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal are both fit whilst Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham return to the squad.
However, the Spanish giants will be without Éder Militão (muscle), David Alaba (calf), Álvaro Carreras (calf) and Ferland Mendy (muscle) in defence whilst Dani Ceballos (calf) and Rodrygo (ACL) miss out elsewhere.
For City, Pep Guardiola will be without Josko Gvardiol (calf / shin) and Rico Lewis (ankle) in what is a relatively injury free side after Mateo Kovacic returned against West Ham at the weekend.
This will be the fifth consecutive season that these two European giants meet in the Champions League knockout stages and City must do the impossible to book their place in the next round in what will be a heated clash.
