The futures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are currently unknown, with reports suggesting that the pair will leave as manager Mikel Arteta plans a huge rebuild of his attack.
Reports earlier this year suggested that Arsenal were exploring a deal for Kvaratskhelia, but the move to North London fell through as he opted to stay with PSG, where he has won back to back Champions League titles.
Now, Arsenal have reportedly made a move for young Georgian talent Andria Bartishvili who has caught the eye of a number of scouts who have compared him to Kvaratskhelia.
Bartishvili is viewed as one of the brightest talents in Georgian football and at 17 years old he is contracted to parent club FC Kolkheti until the end of 2026.
Georgia head coach Willy Sagnol said earlier this month: “I watched the youth team play, Bartishvili is a very talented player.
“However, for a talented player to take a step forward in his career, technique alone is not enough.
“The right mindset is needed, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is an example of this.
“Hopefully, Andria and the other young players will continue to work and develop to become great players in the future.”
Is Bartishvili the next Kvaratskhelia?
Football agent Christian Dzaccardo, who personally pushed Kvaratskhelia to Napoli after seeing him play in Georgia, spoke on Bartishvili who he believes is a serious talent as links to Arsenal grow.
"Recently, a lot of talented players have appeared in Georgia, one of such players is Andria Bartishvili,” the Italian agent told Sky Calcio.
“This 16-year-old attacking midfielder has the potential to become a great player."
“I saw Khvicha Kvaratskhelia play two years before he moved to Napoli, he was already a phenomenal player. I met him and then recommended him to Napoli. "(Kvaratskhelia’s) brother Tornike was born in 2010 and has similar playing skills to Khvicha. He also plays on the left wing, has good dribbling and shooting.”
