Girona coach Michel admits defeat at Getafe is a heavy blow to their top four hopes.

Jesus Santiago was Getafe's matchwinner on the day.

Michel said: "We did not deserve to lose. My feelings as a whole are that we deserved more. We have generated more than them, we have shot more on goal but Getafe is a very difficult rival. We have had up to four clear chances and we did not score. I don't think about the previous defeats, but I don't think about the victories either.

"They played their game and the only thing I complained about was Djené's last action.

"I'm not worried about other defeats. Not when we won everything away were we the Dream Team, nor are we now a team that failed away. We analyze the videos, how to improve. That's the worry.

"Every defeat worries us. We want to fight for the Champions League, we want to put pressure on ourselves to fight with Athletic, Atlético and Barça. We have a historic opportunity to do it and if we don't achieve it for me it would be a very hard blow. We have a squad to enter, we deserve it."
