Carl Starfelt insists he has no regrets joining Celta Vigo.

The Sweden defender joined last summer from Celtic and has found himself in a relegation battle.

"It has felt good for me, but I had no expectations when I arrived, but of course we face very good players every week in Spain, which develops you incredibly much. I am satisfied with my own season, but I had hoped that it would go better for the team," he says.

The 28-year-old does not know if he will stay if Celta Vigo were to be relegated from La Liga.

"I haven't even thought about that. All the focus is just to stay up, then we'll see what happens this summer. I came to the club recently and have three years left on the contract, so all my focus is on Celta," he told Fotbolldirekt.se.
