The 18-year-old has signed a three-year deal with an option for a further season. Maigana joins the European side after impressive displays for the Flying Eagles, helping them win bronze at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
He also represented Nigeria at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, strengthening his reputation as one of the country’s promising young talents.
“The first thing that stood out to me was the kindness of the people living here and the people working at the club,” Maigana told the club’s official website.
“I can already see that this is a very calm, peaceful city where a player can focus exclusively on football.
“I would like to show on the pitch all the qualities that the club management has given me confidence in. I want to prove it. I have only heard good things about the team and the conditions, and since my arrival I can confirm that all this is true.”
