Per The Football Association's Full-Time website, Bolt is a registered player for Wythenshawe Vets FC, who play in the Premier Division of the Cheshire Veterans Football League.
The over-35s team based in south Manchester garnered plenty of attention last year for assembling a squad full of former Premier League players.
Their squad for this season includes, Emile Heskey, Oumar Niasse, Antonio Valencia, Papiss Cisse, Stephen Ireland, Nedum Onuoha, Joleon Lescott and Danny Drinkwater.
Bolt still holds world record for the 100m, and 200m sprints having set the world records for both distances at the 2009 Athletics World Championships.
Wythenshawe are yet to formally announce his arrival.
