Sunderland had their deal for a straight loan rejected by the Lily Whites, and have now come back with a loan offer with an option to buy, per Sky Sports.
The 27-year-old Austrian international has made 34 Premier League appearances for Spurs across two seasons since signing from French side Lens in 2024.
