The Three Lions take on Norway in Miami on Saturday hoping to reach a second World Cup semi-final in three tournaments.
England enter the game following incredible wins over the DR Congo and Mexico which have put the belief into supporters who are already eyeing a clash with Argentina in the Semi Final.
Speaking to Stake, Evra revealed that despite fans backing their side to end 60 years of hurt, they should not get ahead of themselves.
“England have played well, but please... don't start singing 'It's Coming Home' too early. Maybe if you keep quiet this time, you might finally bring it home.
“Harry Kane doesn't need to prove anything to anybody. People talk about his goals, but I love his intelligence. He links the play, brings others into the game and understands football.
“England have enough quality to go all the way. No doubt. The question is not talent. The question is whether they can handle the big moments when the match becomes heavy.
“That's what decides World Cups. Not only the beautiful football. The heavy moments.”
Jarell Quansah will miss the Norway game as he serves a ban for his sending-off against Mexico whilst Jordan Henderson is also ruled out after reportedly breaking his arm after the final whistle.
