France boss Didier Deschamps has spoken on Kylian Mbappe and Aurélien Tchouaméni ahead of the clash against Spain.

The Real Madrid striker has either scored or assisted eleven of France’s 16 goals at the tournament this summer as he thrives with Les Bleus this summer.

Mbappe was absent from a period of France’s preparations ahead of the Semi Final clash against Spain this week just days after he was substituted late on in the quarter-final win over Morocco after appearing to suffer a slight ankle injury.

The Real Madrid star joined teammate Tchouameni as players who were a doubt to face Spain, with fans predicting Manu Kone will start the game.

However, Deschamps has handed fans positive updates before kick off as he predicts that both will be ready to start the game.

"He feels good," the France coach said, as quoted by The Athletic. Downplaying the shortened training session that concerned fans this week, he added: "He has the right, like others, to go 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes on a drill."

On Aurélien Tchouaméni’s availability: "Even though he was on the bench for the last game, the risk was still high. He's better today. I'm not going to say he has been 100 per cent cured. He's now available."

Kone is also carrying a knock from the Morocco match, where he was taken off with an apparent knee issue 20 minutes from time. This opens the door for Tchouameni who could start alongside Mbappe in what is a full strength France squad.
