Derry struck first after a superb pass from first teamer Reggie Walsh. La Dea found an equaliser through Francesco Gasparello's header.
However, Derry restored Chelsea's lead before the halftime break with his second of the day.
Then, in the second-half, Genesis Antwi was the provider as he found Walsh, who finished impressively to secure the 3-1 win.
A late substitute for Chelsea was Matias Eboue, who is the son of former Arsenal title winner Emmanuel Eboue.
