Serie A new boys Venezia want to keep Simon Kjaer in Italy.
The 35-year-old's contract expires at the end of the month and AC Milan have announced that there will be no extension.

Now Calciomercato.com reports that Kjaer could stay in Italy as Venezia are showing interest.
Venezia, who have just been promoted to Serie A, are looking to inject experience into their squad and hope to convince Kjaer to join.
Kjaer made one assist in 25 competitive matches for Milan last season.
