Silvino Louro, the former Portuguese goalkeeper who played for Vitoria de Setubal, Vitoria de Guimaraes, Benfica and FC Porto, has passed away at the age of 67.

Following a distinguished 23-year playing career, he became a respected goalkeeping coach, working closely with Jose Mourinho across several top clubs including Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Serie A side Inter Milan paid tribute to Louro, who served as goalkeeping coach between 2008 and 2010, playing a key role during the club’s historic treble-winning era. 

There, he worked with goalkeepers such as Julio Cesar, Francesco Toldo and Paolo Orlandoni, contributing to multiple domestic titles and the 2010 UEFA Champions League triumph.
