Formerly of Napoli, Albiol has penned an initial 12 month deal with the Serie A minnows.
Albiol arrives at 39 years of age after coming off contract at Villarreal at the end of last season.
His arrival has the backing of Pisa coach Alberto Gilardino, who will lean heavily on the Spain World Cup winner's experience and leadership this season.
