Davis told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "The management believed in me. Gino Pozzo is an exceptional man. He doesn't say much, but when he does, he's delightful."
Davis admits he'd welcome extending his contract with the Zebrette.
He added: "I'm focused on the present, but I have a contract until 2027 and we're slowly starting to talk about a renewal."
