Chelsea are reportedly preparing to renew their interest in Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz after seeing a €70m bid turned down during the summer transfer window.

Enzo Maresca’s side reportedly had the offer turned down for the 20-year-old with Juve keen on retaining his services for the long term.

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, talks between the club and Yildiz’s father/agent have slowed down in recent times.

It’s understood that Juve are reluctant to meet their wage demands despite the fact Yildiz has established himself as a key player for the club.

This could pave the way for Chelsea to sneak in and sign the Turkey international with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2029.

The report adds that there is still a desire from both parties to get a deal over the line, however, with Juve considering Yildiz one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.
